SBA * Consulting LTD, specializing in part-time and interim CFO services announces the opening of both new offices and appointments of key staff members.

Aug. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Bellmore, NY: SBA * Consulting LTD, the premier provider of experienced part-time and/or interim Chief Financial Officers is pleased to announce the opening of several offices as well as the appointment of Consulting Relationship Managers of several of the territories and the appointment of a Sales Manager.

Sales Manager:

Sheldon Lukin of Merrick, NY has been appointed as the Sales Manager for SBA * Consulting LTD. Sheldon duties include the marketing and direction of all Sales staff for the company.

Sheldon Lukin most recently was involved in selling print, direct mail and direct marketing campaigns. Prior to that he sold corporate communications and graphic solutions in both print and web based formats to the financial industry and not for profit organizations. He served as a regional manager for a National Annual Report Design firm where he helped the business grow from eight to sixteen offices. During this expansion he also won five Presidents Club Awards for business development.

Sheldon graduated with a two BS degrees in Business and Industrial Art Education. He is an avid bicycle enthusiast and participates in the Long Island MS Bike 150 tour. Sheldon is also the current Treasurer of South Shore Power Squadron (SSPS) and a past instructor. SSPS is a unit of the United States Power Squadrons (USPS), a boating organization that promotes education and safe boating.

Long Island:

We wish to announce that Robert Berkowitz, CPA of Floral Park, NY has been appointed the Consulting Relationship Manager for Long Island. His duties will include acquisition of the Consulting staff, relationships between SBA * Consulting and our clients, as well as the Sales effort in conjunction with our Sales Manager.

Robert Berkowitz, CPA began his career at PriceWaterhouse where he worked with companies over a broad cross-section of industries. Over the next 30 years he held executive accounting and financial positions at various companies, including, The Trump Group, News Communications, Inc, Lefrak Organization, and Forest City Ratner, Inc. In addition, he performed consulting assignments in affiliation with Gobstein, Weingarten & Goldfarb and Lurie Executive Development.

His specialties include conversion and upgrading of internal financial accounting/information systems, financial reporting, budgeting, fiscal controls, cash management, financial analysis, and tax reporting functions.

Central & Western Connecticut (I-91) and Massachusetts (Mass Pike West):

We wish to announce the opening of these offices under the leadership of our newest Consulting Relationship Manager Robert Cummings, CPA of West Hartford, CT. His duties will include acquisition of the Consulting staff, relationships between SBA * Consulting and our clients, as well as the Sales effort in conjunction with our Sales Manager.

Robert Cummings, CPA with over 25 years of consulting and financial management experience for Connecticut based companies worldwide. He was recently the national product manager for SKYLINE, a popular real estate management accounting software suite by SS&C Technologies, Inc.  of Windsor, CT.

Previously, he was an Engagement Manager for Deloitte Consulting, Ernst & Young and KPMG in various national roles from the Hartford and New York offices. He was Chief Financial Officer of The Futures Group, Inc. as well as Halcyon, LTD. He brings management, technology and sales/marketing expertise to small/medium size growing businesses.

Northern New Jersey/Westchester County:

We wish to announce the opening of these offices under the leadership of Consulting Relationship Manager Philip Zweiger, MBA of Washington Township, NJ. His duties will include acquisition of the Consulting staff, relationships between SBA * Consulting and our clients, as well as the Sales effort in conjunction with our Sales Manager.

Philip Zweiger, MBA brings a vast amount of experience from his senior financial management roles in the media/publishing, professional services, consumer electronics and textiles industries.

His previous jobs include the CFO/VP Finance of Amcor with responsibility for the oversight of all financial and administrative functions. VP-Director of Finance for GFK-NOP, the New York headquarters for a Global Market Research firm where he contributed to three successful merger & acquisition related integrations.

He was CFO/SR. VP of Finance & Administration (and a Board of Director) for a New York based publishing company, Farrar, Straus & Giroux, LLC from 1996-2004. Other prior roles were with Penguin USA (Budget Director/Controller – 1986-1996), Am-Law Publishing (Controller 1985-1986) and National Spinning Co., Inc. (Accounting Manager 1977-1985).
