Aug. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Annual Pull! for Kids Sporting Clays Shoot set for Sept. 22

Madison Heights, Mich. (August 22, 2011) – The second annual fundraiser for Childhelp Michigan will happen on Sept. 22, 2011 at the Detroit Gun Club in Walled Lake.

This extremely popular event is a 100 sporting clays tournament with both team and individual top shooter awards. The tournament will begin at 1pm and includes dinner. The event is expected to conclude at 7:30pm.

This is a unique event that raises money for abused, neglected and at-risk children in Southeast Michigan.
Each team will be assigned a “puller” to lend assistance. Ear and eye protection will be provided and must be worn by all shooters and spectators.

“We got such a positive response from last year’s Pull for Kids event that we are making this an annual event,” said Ann Marie Lesniak, program director for Childhelp Michigan. “It is a new and different spin on a traditional fundraiser and it helps the most vulnerable within our community- our children.”

The cost to participate is $250 per person and includes dinner. Additional sponsorships and underwriting is available.
