Some of the world’s most celebrated chefs will showcase their talent and expertise as they take to The Centre Stage. Demonstrating immense skill and a high level of professionalism that proves why they are at the top of their game, these chefs will share some of their most prized tips and recipes with the audience. Included in the impressive line up are Elena Arzak of Arzak Hamish Brown and Satomi Okubo of Roka, Francesco Mazzei of L’ANIMA, Alyn Williams of Alyn Williams at the Westbury, Bruno Loubet of Bistro Bruno Loubet, award-winning Ashley Palmer-Watts of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, Allan Pickett of Plateu and Tom Kerridge of The Hand and Flowers.

Companies including the SeeWoo Group, McCain Food and Ethical Edibles, are set to exhibit a wide range of high quality produce, launch new products and offer great advice to create truly inspiring menus, this is one area that really needs to be experienced.
The Competition Theatre will come alive each day when some of the country’s most impressive rising talent take on each other to walk away with the industry’s most coveted awards. On Monday 10th October, Champagne JACQUART will put young chef and sommelier pairs through their paces to see who has got what it takes to clinch the Rising Stars title. Tuesday 11th October will see chefs battle it out to be crowned 2011’s National Chef of the Year , the most respected and highly sought after culinary title in the industry which boasts Mark Sargeant and Gordon Ramsay as previous winners. The Young National Chef of the Year competition is back following its success in 2010 and will be held on the same day. The culmination of a series of cook-offs during the course of the year will take place on Wednesday 12th October as the Compass Junior and Senior Chef of the Year finalists go head-to-head with each other to prove they’re the best of the best.
Exceptional food will also be available in the Lunch@TRS, the on-site restaurant that will offer diners the chance to enjoy a celebration of culinary delights and traditions. Once again the team at Westminster Kingsway College have been with some of the leading chefs in the world to create a ‘tapas’ inspired menu made using the finest ingredients. And to add a little extra sparkle to the Show, Lunch@TRS will be transformed into a High Tea fine dining experience on Tuesday 11th October where diners can enjoy a selection of patisserie and Champagne.
Last but by no means least, the Business Bootcamp offers visitors the opportunity to engage with some of the most inspirational and high profile industry leaders in the restaurant business. Our experts, including Will Drew, editor of restaurant magazine; James Robertson, Groupon; Tim Selby, BBC presenter and Lars Peder Hedbert, will discuss the issues facing the industry and offer best practice and commercial advice on how to stay ahead of the game.
