"Moments In Time” exhibit at Focal Point Gallery opening Friday, September 9th, 6-9 PM

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 23, 2011 - Focal Point Gallery is hosting an opening reception for their new exhibit, "Moments in Time." Meet the artists and browse their works at the Second Friday Artwalk at Focal Point Gallery in Chapel Hill, Friday, September 9th 6-9 pm.
An exploration of images that define a moment in time by local artists who use the concept of time to place events, capture a sunset, a mood, a seascape or an arrangement of flowers and fruit.  This exhibit will feature works depicting art in our time.  
Focal Point Gallery is the newest fine art and craft gallery in Chapel Hill located at 1215 East Franklin Street. Exhibiting North Carolina local artists Kathy Alderman, Kelly Alderman, Brenda Garner, Jamie Hansen, Jolanta Kokot, Windy Lampson, Mira Pawlus, Elaine Pelkey-Herrick, Diny Rahimtoola, LouAnne Summers, Burton Tysinger and Emogene Wallace.
Jolanta Kokot, who has exhibited nationally and internationally, will be the Featured Artist for the month of September. She will be showing her award-winning pastels.  
Focal Point Gallery is celebrating artwork inspired by time - past, present or future. The exhibit begins September 9th through October 13th.
