Green B.E.A.N. Delivery donates produce to ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in Columbus, Ohio

Delivery, an online home delivery service that provides organic produce and natural groceries to its members, announces today the donation of fresh produce to 5,000 volunteers working to rebuild a Columbus, Ohio, home for ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

The company also stocked the families’ pantry and refrigerator full or fresh produce and organic products for its return to its new home.

Donations include locally grown lettuce, tomatoes, lemons, limes, oranges, apples, onions, shredded lettuce, bananas, cherries and red, yellow and green peppers.

“There is nothing that brings us more joy than donating fresh, healthy food to a great cause,” said John Freeland, vice president of Green B.E.A.N. Delivery. “Everyone involved in the rebuild of the Columbus home for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is making a significant impact on a family, and we are happy to be able to do our part.”
