Ivben Taqiy Art Show at Sigma Sound Studios
The Show will consist of large 3D paintings (in acrylic and oil paint, mixed media) of international musical influencers that have recorded at Sigma Sound Studios. People like Elton John, Erica Badu, Yoko Ono, Rick James, Teddy Pendergrass, The Roots and more. Ivben Taqiy, “With the way technology and trends in film are evolving, I too wanted to reflect this evolution in my paintings and bring a more 2012 approach to using paint and canvas. I thought there is no better partner to help bring this event to life than the Philadelphia Film Society.”
With Help from The Nouveau Image’s Michelle Miller and sponsors like Vitamin Water, Heineken, Maggiano’s and Blicks Art Supplies the show will prove to be a highlight in the programming for the 10 day Film Festival’s line up of events. Live music and entertainment will add to the event’s atmosphere and create a sophisticated element to the show. Patrons will wear 3D glasses to view the paintings and bring the exhibition to life.
