The new section features longer-length dresses, skirts and coats, as well as tops, blouses and jackets with long or elbow-length sleeves. There are also scarves for extra cover and T-shirts and camisoles to go under dresses and tops to avoid necklines being too revealing.
The site founders, fashion journalist Jan Shure and image consultant Cyndy Lessing, became aware that some women, for religious or cultural reasons, require clothing that is modest and covers their shoulders and arms, and is long enough to at least cover their knees. Everything in the new section, “Modest Clothing” has been chosen with these requirements in mind.
Cyndy Lessing said: “If a woman requires modest clothing for religious or cultural reasons, she doesn't want to trawl through thousands of garments which are inappropriate, so SoSensational has created special pages for women who wish to dress modestly.
“We understand how difficult it can be to find these garments – which are long enough, which cover arms and shoulders, so we have tried to take the effort and slog out of it, by featuring longer length dresses, skirts and coats, as well as tops, dresses and blouses which have long or elbow-length sleeves,” added Cyndy.
The new section includes day-wear, and some special pieces for evenings and occasions. New merchandise will be added as the season progresses so there will always be new things to see and buy, as across SoSensational.
The site is easy to use. Visitors simply click on a garment they like, and are taken to the brand’s own website where they can see full details, and decide whether to buy securely, or can return to http://www.sosensational.co.uk/
