The grant recognizes work that MKCCC and IBM collaborated on to further educate MKCCC children as part of the Center’s Feed Me Fresh sustainable nutrition program. IBM instituted the grant program in honor of their Centennial year, helping to recognize the effort made by both the volunteers and the institutions they aided.
“We are honored to be recognized by IBM for the successful collaboration between MKCCC and local volunteers,”
IBM participates in numerous volunteer opportunities in local communities in an effort to apply IBMers’ professional skills to support and aid in local issues. The program, designed for employees, retirees and business partners, was put in place to lend time and support to local community organizations during the company’s Centennial year. At MKCCC, the IBM volunteers assisted the children with all gardening needs, including an after school lesson about excel spreadsheets to better organize their harvest.
MKCCC is located at 95 Radio Circle, Mount Kisco, NY. For additional information, please visit www.mkccc.org or call (914) 241-2135. Follow MKCCC on www.facebook.com/
