Award Winning Digital Agency sets a date for the “Duckies Awards”

Aug. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- Award winning digital agency, Cyber-Duck has announced plans to host a threefold celebration on the 10th September 2011 from 5pm in their brand new, dedicated offices in Elstree, Hertfordshire.

Cyber-Duck will be celebrating their 6th birthday as well as the continued growth and success of the company to become the number one independent digital agency focusing on a combination of UX, Interactive Media, SaaS and digital marketing. The celebration will also encompass the opening of the company’s new dedicated office building in Elstree, and the brand new ‘Duckies’ awards.

This section of the event will be recognising some of Cyber-Duck’s favourite projects from this year’s New Designers show in Islington with a prestigious ‘Duckies’ award, as recognition of all the innovative work not honoured officially at the exhibition by the Cyber-Duck associate prize.

For the last two years Cyber-Duck has sponsored the UX Associate Prize at the New Designers event. Each time the Cyber-Duck judging panel were overwhelmed with the amount of outstanding new talent and high standard of work on display. Cyber-Duck set about recognising more than one project a year and therefore created the ‘Duckies Awards’ to recognise a far greater range of talent.

Winners of the ‘Duckies’ will include nine graduates from the event, as well as a performance from world-class magician Nick Einhorn, free eye tracking demonstrations, music from DJ Steve Taylor and free food and refreshments throughout the evening.

Cyber-Duck’s new dedicated office spans over 2,500 sq ft and is located in Elstree, Hertfordshire, 2 miles from the company’s previous office in Borehamwood. Benefits of the new building include a dedicated IT and coms room, free staff and client parking, new VOIP/ISDN telecoms infrastructure, dedicated eye tracking lab, a chill-out lounge, eating area, two board rooms and more space to accommodate the ever expanding workforce. The new office building is also a grade II listed building, which is protected by law to have no changes to the exterior to preserve its historical interest.
