LPU reaches Global Panache: Awarded Asia's Best Emerging B School Award at Singapore

Aug. 22, 2011 - PRLog -- LPU has been adjudged the Best Emerging B School-2011 in Asia, at the 2nd Asia's Best B-School awards ceremony held at Singapore. In a function of all radiance at the famous Suntec, Singapore; around 29 countries, including Australia, South Africa, UK, USA, UAE, China, France, Japan, Spain, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea etc participated prominently. During this, the best B-Schools in Asia were awarded in a colour-ful ceremony held amongst a galaxy of luminaries from the world of education and corporate. Among the members of Jury were stalwarts like Mr Bhaskar Chatterjee, Secretary to the Govt of India, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises; Mr Harish Mehta, Emeritus chairman-World HRD Congress & Founder Member-NASSCOM; Mr Michael McDonald, Global Chairman, World HRD Congress; Professor Tom Hilton, Global Chairman, Asia Pacific HRM Congress; Ms Saagarika Ghoshal, Chief People Officer, Reliance Big Entertainment Pvt Ltd and a many others.

On adoption of advancement modes, study incorporated global scenario, the best curriculum based on different parameters required, LPU got this coveted honour, sharing the dais along with other internationally reputed organizations like Nanyang Business School Singapore; Institute of Business Administration, Pakistan; Faculty of Graduate Studies, Sri Lanka; Middlesex University, Dubai Campus; IIM Bangalore and IIM Indore, India; Lingnan University, Hongkong; Xavier Labour Relations Institute, India;; IESE Business School, Barcelona, China Europe International Business school, Guanghua School of Management, China and others.

Feeling elated and excited on having the prestigious award, the Chancellor of the University, Mr Ashok Mittal exclaimed "We all at LPU are really very excited to receive Asia's the Best Emerging B School award from such a big dais." He continued: "Our University is putting all its efforts to bring the name of Indian education on Global Platform. This award gives us further motivation to work harder and achieve more." He added that the University is tying up with more global Universities and is also recruiting students from different parts of the world. Also, LPU is making continuous changes on the curricular level to map the man-power fit on global scenario.
