Gina Abudi has been elected to the Project Management Institute’s Massachusetts Bay Chapter Board of Directors as President for the term 2011 - 2013.

Aug. 21, 2011 - PRLog -- Abudi Consulting Group, LLC is pleased to announce that Gina Abudi been elected to the Project Management Institute (PMI®) Massachusetts Bay Chapter Board of Directors in the President role for the term 2011 - 2013. Gina Abudi has 20 years of experience in project and process management.  She has worked with a variety of businesses to help them plan and implement their strategies for increasing efficiencies and improving effectiveness at meeting their own customers’ needs utilizing project management strategies and best practices.

Gina has served on the Project Management Institute’s Global Corporate Council as Chair of the Leadership Team. Gina has been honored as one of the Power 50 from PMI® - one of the 50 most influential executives in project management, working to move the profession forward.  She is Co-Chair of the NEHRA Program Committee.

Gina has presented at various conferences and forums, including PMI®’s Global Congress and the Building Business Capability conference, in addition to executive teams, on topics such as business impact and ROI analysis, developing a project management best practice, managing process improvement initiatives, building effective project teams, utilizing project management strategies and best practices in your small to medium size business, and assessing skills and capabilities.

Gina is co-author of The CIG to Best Practices for Small Businesses (Alpha Books, Oct. 2011) and a contributing author to Project Pain Reliever (J. Ross Publishing, Nov. 2011.) Gina blogs regularly at http://www.GinaAbudi.com.

Gina received her MBA from Simmons Graduate School of Management.  She served on the Simmons Graduate School of Management Alumnae Association Board from 2007 – 2009.
