Leaving Gifts For Work Colleagues

Aug. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- With the uncertain work climate, at Office Boutique we have seen an increase in requests for leaving gifts.  We have put together some ideas for gifts together with adding that personal touch:
•   A distinctive address book - include all your contact details and a short message - perhaps great to work with you, stay in touch
•   A photo album - if you have some pictures (or take a group picture), include this in the album together with a special message
•   If they are going to pastures new - a new job, you can never go wrong with a business card case.  An essential item to hold business cards professionally - Office Boutique has a great range
•   A cork board with personal messages/picture pinned on - you can add some champagne, flowers, luxury chocolates (cheesy but Heroes chocolates are great as you can say - you have been one of our heroes working here)

•   Leather journal - a really luxurious journal is a lovely gift and you can include a personal note at the front
•   Pick and mix of fashion stationery - if they are going to work elsewhere this will come in useful or if they are retiring many people are now assigning an office space area at home
•   Vintage print - buy a lovely frame and voila you have a really distinctive item
•   Do they have a laptop or iphone?  Why not choose a skin - such as Marilyn Monroe and combine with a DVD
•   Add a balloon - Miss Smarty Pants or one called Mr Smarty Pants
•   Depending on the time of year - a calendar or diary - add a special message, if you want to stay in touch mark a date to meet up for dinner - you could buy as part of the present
•   Stationery gifts perhaps featuring William Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde.  You could also include one of their plays/books or book a ticket to a show featuring their work
•   Luxury Guest Book - you could all add some personal comments.  An example is a lovely coffee leather guest book featuring the work of Frank Lloyd Wright the architect.  You could record a special moment/achievement they did in the workplace.  You could add a luxury pen and letter opener - we tend never to buy these for ourselves but they make great gifts
•   Leaving work is leaving work behind so how about some fun - perhaps a desktop basketball game or a silver plated yo yo
•   Retiring?  How about a great organiser book for the home - Garden Cuttings Book and Recipe Organiser - add some seeds, plant or some luxury food
•   Gift stationery voucher - if you have a money collection buy a voucher and let the recipient choose for themselves
