Boman Irani visits MVN Education City, Palwal

Bollywood actor, Boman Irani visits MVN Education City to promote 'Beyond Horizon', an initiative by MVN that challenges the ordinary.
 
Aug. 19, 2011 - PRLog -- MVN Education City saw visit of Bollywood actor, Boman Irani. He has given many memorable performances in his movies. One of his most admired role was of 'Virus' in movie 3 Idiots, where he plays Professor Viru Shahastrabuddhe, aka Virus. In MVN, it was a time for him to be with students with the “Beyond Horizon” spirit of MVN.

Beyond Horizon is an initiative by MVN that challenges the ordinary. It promotes expanding the vision beyond the traditional boundaries. Imbibing Beyond Horizon, Virus interacted with the students not as a strict competitive administrator who goes just by the book, but as a reformed Virus enlightened with the philosophy of Rancho. He was presented with a pen, representing the symbol of excellence that he presented to Rancho.

Speaking on the event, Boman Irani said, “MVN Education City is a place that symbolises the future of education. 'Beyond Horizon' is a philosophy I find very close to my heart. I found  the campus and students a class above the others with their drive and passion for learning. The beauty about learning is that it continuously enhances with your life and experiences. I have observed when you share knowledge, it enriches you as well. I feel that by being here, I have taken back some cherish-able memories.”

Boman freely shared his life and experiences with an attentive audience. He shared that he has a formal training in acting but he also learnt acting from celebrity customers visiting his mom's bakery store. He also shared that its never too late to learn. He talked about how his movie acting career started at the age of 44. He talked about his memories of giving memorable performances in Munnabhai MBBS, 3 Idiots, Khosla Ka Ghosla and other movies. He also spoke about his upcoming movies including Don 2 and Houseful 2.

Apart from spending time with students, he also requested a tour of MVN Education City. Mr. Varun Sharma, President, MVN alongwith Board of Directors, including Mr. Neeraj Katyal and Dr. H. M. Sethi were present at the event and accompanied the actor in his tour.

Mr. Varun Sharma, President, MVN, said, “Boman Irani is a source of immense inspiration in the area of education. He reflects the kind of standards that MVN will like to set in imparting unparalleled high level education and grooming the young minds to achieve the highest level in their life.”

The event was attended by hundreds of students of MVN. Students who are still in the admission process were also specially invited at the event. They were ecstatic on meeting Boman Irani and hearing his experiences. Boman promised to be back with the students again.
