Building on the success of its line of Fra’ Mani Dry-cured and Cooked Salumi, the Company’s mission is to expand its menu of exceptional, chef-prepared, natural and organic food products from verified sources committed to sustainable agriculture, animal welfare and environmental renewal.

Created by Fra’ Mani founder, renowned chef and author Paul Bertolli, these fully-cooked entrees and side dishes are designed to offer busy families authentic, ready-to-heat & serve meal solutions without compromising ingredient quality and taste. In keeping with the values of Fra’ Mani and Whole Foods Markets, these items contain no preservatives and utilize packaging materials that are food-contact-safe for the consumer and 100% recyclable.

The five new Fra’ Mani prepared foods items are:
PENNE FRA DIAVOLO (Pasta with Spicy Italian Sausage & Peppers)
RISOTTO PRIMAVERA (Italian Arborio Rice with Spring Vegetables)
BRAISED BEEF & ONIONS with Balsamic Vinegar
ORGANIC CORN POLENTA with Rosemary
CHICKEN PROVENCAL (Boneless Thigh Meat with Tomatoes, Eggplant & Olives)

Beginning today, these products will be available to consumers in all Whole Foods Market stores in the Northern California region. Fra’ Mani expects additional regions of Whole Foods Market to begin carrying the product line in late-2011 and 2012.
