Capital K9s 5th Annual Dog Paddle

Aug. 23, 2011 - PRLog -- Please join us Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 at Goodman Pool on Olin Avenue for the Capital K9s 5th Annual Dog Paddle. For this event Goodman Pool closes to the public and for one amazing day will be open only to our canine friends. Watch as dogs vie for farthest jump, fastest retrieve, and biggest splash. There will be additional contests, prizes, and more. All proceeds from this unique event will benefit the Madison Police Department’s K9 Unit, which means a safer community for all of us.  

This event will go on rain or shine:

10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
$12 per dog in advance or $15 at the door
Goodman Pool -325 Olin Avenue -Madison, WI

Previous years have seen over a thousand dogs so please register online today at http://www.Capitalk9s.org. Unfortunately, we have to ask that people leave all puppies and intact dogs at home.

Formed in 2004, Capital K9s is a non-profit organization, comprised of Madison area volunteers, that supports the Madison Police Department K9 Unit through fundraising efforts. A patrol K9 Unit increases departmental efficiency, while enhancing the safety of both officers and the community.
