Rose Hill Center Names Wayne County Chief Financial Officer Carla Sledge to Board of Directors

Aug. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- HOLLY, Mich. - Rose Hill Center, a psychiatric treatment and rehabilitation facility that offers a comprehensive range of programs for adults with mental illness, has named Wayne County Chief Financial Officer Carla Sledge to its board of directors.  The announcement was made today by Daniel J. Kelly, chairman of the board for Rose Hill Center.  

“We’re very pleased to have Carla join us at Rose Hill Center as we continue our work to help people overcome mental illness and lead normal, productive lives,” Kelly said.  “Her strong interest in the effective treatment of the seriously mentally ill, as well as her finance and accounting expertise, will be a tremendous asset to our Board.”

Sledge provides financial leadership for the county with responsibility for a $2.1 billion annual budget. Her breadth of experience includes expertise in finance, strategic planning, sustainability, risk management, information technology and interaction with federal and state government agencies.

Prior to her role as Wayne County’s financial chief, Sledge worked as an audit manager for nine years at Deloitte & Touche LLP, a provider of audit, tax and risk management services.  She is the 2011 recipient of the CFO Award by Crain’s Detroit Business and was featured in the 2007 edition of Who’s Who in Black Detroit.

Sledge holds Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Arts degrees from Eastern Michigan University.  She lives in Franklin, Mich., with her husband.
