Aug. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- This course is based on a report from the American Psychological Association regarding resilience among African Americans. The report was based on a thorough review of the research literature, and includes implications of the research as well as recommendations for action. The material is presented in a manner that research articles are used in graduate courses. The research focused on the lives of African American children and adolescents, with an emphasis on their strengths and areas of resilience. The aim was on achievement and how to increase success.
