BlueBeary (2009) is the first in a series of children’s books from Open Eyes Books, written by preschool educator Kathleen McMillan, illustrated by Rebekah Joy Plett, and published by Siretona Creative. BlueBeary won Award of Merit from the Canadian Christian Writing Awards (June 2010). Open Eyes Books publications are designed to teach observation and communication skills to children.
