The workshop, entitled Converged Voice and Data Connectivity Alternatives, will focus on how law firms can increase the reliability and uptime of their networks while controlling costs. Joining Akey for the workshop will be Robert Pantazelos, network manager at Brown Rudnick, a full service, international law firm with over 200 attorneys.
“We’ll be talking about how companies can move beyond the MPLS standard and fully converge their voice and data networks,” said Akey. “Technologies such as SIP trunking, VPN gateways and Broadband connections provide great alternatives for firms of all sizes.”
The ILTA conference features almost 200 educational sessions over the course of four days providing a wealth of expertise and know-how to the legal IT professionals in attendance.
“ILTA is a great resource for members looking to improve their understanding of emerging technologies such as these,” said Akey. “I’m honored to have the opportunity to share some of what Crystal knows at the event.”
