Aug. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- A new free webinar from FilmmakingWebinars.com will go over details on how directors and editors can work together to get the most out of their relationship.

Have you ever seen two versions of a film? One the original, and another the directors cut? Why not work to create one unified version of the film by having the editor and director work together? A free live webinar on August 18th at 10:00 AM PDT will make sure that the relationship between the editor and director remains smooth, and professional. Since the film spends more time with the director and editor than any other two people, this relationship is crucial to the success of the film. The webinar will also review ways to diagnose and correct story problems, while maintaining a relaxing and cooperative environment.

Presenter Misha Tenenbaum is a film and television editor, a certified Advanced Final Cut Pro Instructor, and an Avid Certified User (ACU). His editing includes "Immigration Tango", winner of Best Picture at the Boston International Film Festival, and the popular Speed Channel TV show, "Super Cars Exposed".
