Direct Source Special Products Inc. Announces EPA’s Design for the Environment (DfE)

Aug. 16, 2011 - PRLog -- DELRAY BEACH, FL – August 16, 2011- Direct Source Special Products, Inc. (DSSP/Aussan Natural) is proud to announce that products from the Aussan Natural line have been certified with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Design for the Environment (DfE) label.

The following products have earned the EPA’s DfE label: All-Purpose Cleaner * Floor Cleaner Concentrate
* Room Odor Eliminator * Oven & BBQ Grill Cleaner * Nursery All-Purpose Cleaner * Nursery Odor Eliminator * Pet All-Purpose Cleaner * Cat Odor Eliminator * Dog Odor Eliminator * Small Pet Odor Eliminator * Shoe Odor Eliminator * Sport Equipment Odor Eliminator.

For more than 15 years, The EPA’s Design for the Environment (DfE) program has worked to evaluate human health and environmental concerns associated with chemicals and processes.  Consumer products such as cleaners have the ability to gain EPA approval and showcase the EPA’s DfE label on their packaging and other materials. The EPA explains that companies that have earned the label “have invested heavily in research, development and reformulation to ensure that their ingredients and finished product line up on the green end of the health and environmental spectrum while maintaining or improving product performance.”

Because of the thorough guidelines set forth and the overall history and reputation of the organization, DSSP chose to seek the EPA’s DfE approval for the Aussan Natural line. DSSP wants to show that the Aussan Natural line has been formulated with consumer and environmental health as a top priority, and the EPA’s DfE label signifies just that.  

DSSP is honored by the EPA’s recognition of the Aussan Natural products, and plans to use the DfE label for a wide range of applications. It will appear on the labels for the products certified, the Aussan Natural website, sales materials, social media sites, and more.
