“For carpet, your basic vacuum will do the trick.  For hard-surface floors, you need a dust mop. Also, be aware of products with silicon or wax that can cause slippery surfaces,” she adds.  “Instead look for products with unique ingredients like mineral oil that helps restore and provide a clean shine looking your floors look brand new.”
