YORK, Pennsylvania  (August 15, 2011) – York-based Cindy Foor Ministries announces its Fall schedule for the 2011 Girlfriend Getaway conference tour entitled “ENOUGH is ENOUGH!”    

This new conference for women of all ages and denominations was originally launched in Altoona PA followed by Lancaster PA late last year, and due to popular demand, expanded its tour to include Atlanta GA, Long Branch NJ, and Pittsburgh PA in Spring 2011.  

This Fall, the second tour of Girlfriend Getaway is being kicked off again in Altoona PA (September), followed by the Poconos PA (October), and Lancaster PA (November).  Plans for 2012 tour dates are still being finalized and will be published soon.

Girlfriend Getaway is a conference that focuses on the unique needs of today’s woman and offers time of spiritual and physical refreshment through a combination of music and biblical teaching sessions, and built in “down time” to be spent with friends and other conference attendees.  The conference is conducted within 24-hours, from late Friday afternoon/evening through Saturday afternoon.  “EVERY WOMAN NEEDS a BREAK” is the conference tagline.    

The conference tours various cities in order to be readily available and accessible to all women.  “You don’t have to go far to get away,” is what Cindy Foor, Founder/CEO explains is one of the main goals of the conference.  “So many women today do not have access to or time to attend something like this – yet they need it desperately!  Our team brings the conference to her home town so she can participate more easily.”

Cindy is a popular women’s events speaker whose enthusiasm and passion to teach women from God’s Word is quickly evident in her messages.  She often uses humor as she openly shares from her personal life and is a gifted story-teller and teacher.  Foor published her first book “God Can Walk on His Eyeballs: The 10 Most Amazing Things He Taught Me” in 2008 and is currently writing her second book, “THE BIG 3: Lies that Terrify Women,” which is the basis for the messages she brings to the initial Girlfriend Getaway conferences.
