“The Climb to Conquer Cancer has become a beloved tradition on our campus because it provides the opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to connect with each other and the community. That connection helps keep students engaged in their education and on the path to graduation,”
The Climb to Conquer Cancer climb is 6.7 miles at Arizona Snowbowl. The climb starts at 7:00 a.m. All proceeds from the event support the American Cancer Society's work to save lives and create a world with less cancer. The Climb to Conquer Cancer is one of the many philanthropic activities that the Flagstaff campus participates in throughout the year; other activities include participating in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and March of Dimes’ March for Babies, as well as volunteering with Big Brother Big Sisters, Hope’s Cottage, and the Northern Arizona Food Bank.
