Aug. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Lennar, one of the nation’s top homebuilders, is celebrating the arrival of Moncks Corner’s newest neighborhood,  The Abbey at Spring Grove Plantation, with a grand opening event on Saturday, Aug. 20.

From noon to 4 p.m. at the Welcome Home Center located at 201 Maywood Drive, visitors can tour the community’s model home, enter to win a Blackberry Playbook and explore the community’s many outstanding amenities, including a pool, cabana, baseball field, picnic area and playground.  Lennar will also provide complimentary lunch and beverages, as well as a water slide for children to enjoy.

“Moncks Corner is a growing area of South Carolina, and we are excited to participate in that growth,” said Lennar Coastal Carolinas Division President Bob Hilliard.  “Lennar brings beautiful homes with reasonable pricing to The Abbey at Spring Grove Plantation, and we’re excited to provide families with the future home of their dreams.”

Anyone who purchases a home during the grand opening weekend will receive an upgraded Home Automation package at no additional charge.  With the cutting-edge technology of Lennar’s Home Automation system from Schlage LINK®, homeowners can remotely lock and unlock doors, control their thermostat, track who has accessed their deadbolt locks and monitor a live video feed of their home from any smartphone, tablet or computer.

Lennar has 69 home sites available at The Abbey at Spring Grove Plantation, where homes feature 1,480 to more than 2,100 square feet and start in the low $140s.  These one- and two-story plans have three or four bedrooms, two or two and a half baths and a two-car garage.

Homebuyers in The Abbey at Spring Grove Plantation will benefit from Lennar’s signature Everything’s Included™ program.  This program has such desirable luxury features as upgraded flooring, a complete appliance package with refrigerator and much more, all included in the base price of the home.  Other home builders charge extra for these add-ons, costing the homebuyer thousands of dollars more.

Located near the intersection of Cypress Garden Road and Old Highway 52, The Abbey at Spring Grove Plantation is situated in a desirable area of Moncks Corner, just minutes from restaurants and shopping and less than an hour from everything the greater Charleston area has to offer.  The community is zoned for sought-after Berkeley County schools including Whitesville Elementary, a Palmetto Silver Star winner; Berkeley Middle; and Berkeley High, recently named an International Baccalaureate
World School.
