4th Annual Charity Theatre Night Hosted By Human Capital Strategies

Gabriel's Angels & Phoenix Youth at Risk are to be honored at the 4th Annual Charity Night at Phoenix Theatre hosted by Human Capital Strategies.

Aug. 20, 2011 - PRLog -- Gabriel’s Angels, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to deliver healing pet therapy to abused, neglected and at-risk children, nurturing their ability to love and trust, thereby freeing them from the cycle of violence, and Phoenix Youth at Risk, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to transform the lives of at risk youth by providing a foundation of mentoring and curriculum that helps them build positive, goal directed futures will be the two honored charities at Phoenix Theatre on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, courtesy of Human Capital Strategies based in Mesa, AZ.

This is the fourth annual charity night at the Phoenix Theatre hosted by Human Capital Strategies (http://www.hcscando.com).  Gabriel’s Angels and Phoenix Youth at Risk will be recipients of their generous contributions from a night at the theatre.  This year’s performance, Boeing Boeing, is the 2008 Tony Award Winner for “Best Revival of a Play.”  Based on the film starring Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis, the play is the story of Bernard, a successful architect living in Paris juggling three flight attendant 'fiancees' - an American, an Italian and a German.  Bernard thinks he can easily keep each woman unaware of the others' existence.  But when schedules change and flights are delayed,  Bernard's system hits turbulence.

“The first three years have been such a huge success that we made it an annual event,” said Jason Knight, Principal for Human Capital Strategies.  “Both Gabriel’s Angels and Phoenix Youth At Risk are wonderful organizations that do so much for our community, so we are delighted to be able to help them serve more children through our night at Phoenix Theatre.  In addition, we have been fortunate to provide top-notch musicals at more than half off the regular ticket price.”

Tickets for Boeing Boeing hosted by Human Capital Strategies on Tues., Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. are $30 for general admission and $60 for a VIP Pass (which includes appetizers and beverages, wine and beer available, premium seating, and reception starting at 5:30 pm).  Tickets may be purchased at the Phoenix Theatre box office, by calling 602.254.2151, or though www.phoenixtheatre.com.  Please pick up your ticket at the box office for admission to the VIP area.  All tickets & sale proceeds benefit Gabriel’s Angels & Phoenix Youth at Risk.  Phoenix Theatre is located at 100 E. McDowell Rd. in Phoenix.

Gabriel’s Angels is a non-profit organization in Arizona.  Registered pet therapy teams, comprised of owners and their dogs, visit over 100 facilities serving abused and at-risk children in the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas.  The therapy visits provide children with unconditional love, and teach compassion, trust, respect and core social skills.  The dogs lift up children’s spirits, give them hope and provide safe and unconditional acceptance.  For more information about becoming a volunteer or pet therapy team please call 602.266.0875 or visit http://www.GabrielsAngels.org.

Greater Phoenix Youth at Risk was founded in 1987 and granted non-profit 501(c)(3) status in 1989.   Founders envisioned a hands-on educational experience that would open the hearts and minds of troubled youth to a whole new realm of life possibilities.  The original program began with a retreat designed to open youth to personal transformation.  The founders understood that a continuing relationship with an adult mentor would help make the transformation “stick.”  For more information about becoming a mentor please call 602.266.0875 or visit http://www.phoenixyouthatrisk.org.
