Lebanon Online Deploys Blue Coat Appliance to Reduce Bandwidth Costs and Enhance End-User Experience

Aug. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- DUBAI, United Arab Emirates–  Blue Coat Systems, Inc.  announced that Internet service provider (ISP) Lebanon Online S.A.R.L. has deployed the Blue Coat® CacheFlow® 5000 appliance. The newly installed platform enables Lebanon Online to substantially reduce operational expenses by cutting bandwidth spend, manage sizeable increases in network traffic and subscriber growth, enhance Web security and optimize and enhance the delivery of rich Web 2.0 content, large files and video. Lebanon Online expects the return on its investment in CacheFlow appliances to be less than six months, based upon bandwidth savings alone.
