Aug. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Simpsonville, —— Entrepreneur Zack Hix, creator of the new line of Good Boy Roy t-shirts just returned from a trip to Hollywood where he was invited to be a presenter at the gifting suite for the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards on April 1.  Hix, now a 16 year old Sophomore at Hillcrest High School started his Good Boy Roy business in January of 2010, along with the help of his mother , Kim Hix the “CEO” of Good Boy Roy and father, Doug Hix the backing partner.

     Some of the many characters in the new line are Handsome Hen, Laughing Lizzie, Rocker Rick, Hippie Heather and more, all kid friendly and guaranteed to bring a smile. Kids, teens, tweens and adults all enjoy wearing the unique and imaginative characters drawn and created by Zack.

    Hollywood bound. An event producer in Hollywood was told about Zack’s fun designs, after viewing them online he decided the fun shirts would be a good fit for the younger celebrities attending the Gifting Event associated with the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. A phone call was made to Mrs. Hix with the invite, at which time the family decided it would be a great opportunity and a once in a lifetime chance to show off the Good Boy Roy line in the LA community. Along with Good Boy Roy were about
30 other businesses invited to share, promote, and display their product to the invited celebrities, producers, models and athletes.

    Among some of the many (approximately 60) celebrities Zack and his family met were ; Matt Shively “Ryan” on the show True Jackson; Daniel Samonas “Dean” of Wizards of Waverly Place; Andre Harris of Victorious; Noah Munck better known as “Gibby” on iCarly; Logan Henderson of Big Time Rush, Rico Rodriguez “Manny” on Modern Family; Jeff “swampy” Marsh, creator of Phineas and Ferb., and many more. All celebrities were give the Good Boy Roy shirt of their choice, in hopes they will be worn and promoted.
