Join the 'Hunt for the Chupacabra'

Aug. 13, 2011 - PRLog -- Fantasy writer Michael Hebler, author of the acclaimed children's picture book “The Night After Christmas” publishes a fantasy story for mature readers entitled "Hunt for the Chupacabra", about a retired Confederate tracker in pursuit of the elusive and legendary creature for some well-deserved revenge.

Recently made famous by reports of sightings throughout the western United States, "Hunt for the Chupacabra" is a free short story that begins a new anthology of Old West thriller novels based on the cultural phenomenon, el chupacabra.

"'Hunt for the Chupacabra' is similar to a stand alone prologue for my upcoming novel, 'Night of the Chupacabra', a fusion of two favorite genres of mine - thrillers and westerns," stated Hebler.  "Developing a deeply emotional series that centers on the importance of family and love within the context of a dangerous and unsuspecting world has been my biggest passion.”

Author Hebler is hard at work completing 'Curse of the Chupacabra', Book Two in the Chupacabra Series and currently plans to extend his anthology to five novels, with additional free side short stories between each novel.

"Hunt for the Chupacabra" is free and only available for eBooks and digital download and can be found through most online book retailers including iTunes, Amazon and Barnes & Noble, as well as the official Chupacabra Series website.  All novels in the Chupacabra Series will be available in both trade paperback, as well as eBook formats.
