3Degrees’ Dan Lieberman to speak at Social Media for Utilities

Aug. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- SAN FRANCISCO –  3Degrees announced today that Dan Lieberman, senior manager of utility partnerships at 3Degrees, will speak at the 5th Social Media For Utilities conference, on August 16, 2011, at the Hyatt Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, California.

Lieberman will give a presentation titled Using Social Media to Promote Utility Green Programs. In this presentation he will discuss how utilities can use social media to target, attract, and engage residential and commercial green power program customers. Included in the presentation will be case studies of how utilities have used Facebook and other social media to strengthen their green power programs.

Lieberman oversees 3Degrees’ partnerships with Silicon Valley Power and City of Palo Alto Utilities. Prior to joining 3Degrees Lieberman worked for seven years at the Center for Resource Solutions, primarily managing the Green-e Renewable Energy Certification program. He currently serves on the Sustainability Committee of the City of Albany, California, where he and his family reside.
