EMSL Moves Asbestos and Mold Lab to Denver

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug. 11, 2011 - EMSL is pleased to announce the move of their Colorado laboratory currently located in Centennial to a new location in Denver conveniently located off I-25.  The new facility is a state of the art 3,800 s.f. building which nearly doubles EMSL’s laboratory space.  This move was necessitated by EMSL’s tremendous growth in the Denver area since opening in April of 2008.  Contributing to this tremendous growth has been the steady addition of quality personnel, laboratory accreditations and this facility being approved by the USEPA Region 8 as a contract asbestos laboratory to support the Libby asbestos Superfund project. The laboratory provides asbestos, mold and indoor air quality testing to environmental, health & safety, government agencies, indoor air quality and inspection professionals throughout the world.  The new location will be highly visible off Interstate 25 in Denver with a large billboard on top of the EMSL building advertising Laboratory Testing.

Effective August 24th, 2011, EMSL's Denver lab will be located at: 1010 Yuma Street, Denver, Colorado 80204.  At that point, clients may then begin sending their Asbestos PLM bulk samples, Asbestos TEM air samples, fiber count PCM air samples and Mold samples as well as any other samples needing to be analyzed by the corporate laboratory.  Clients located outside of driving distance may ship their samples to EMSL via FED-Ex, UPS or USPS as an alternative.

EMSL's Colorado laboratory is currently certified by AIHA EMLAP #189946, NVLAP for TEM Air and PLM Bulk #200828-0, California Department of Public Health #2760, State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment #AL-15063 and The State of Washington Department of Ecology #C937.  In addition, the laboratory also paricipates in the AIHA EMPAT and AIHA IHPAT proficiency testing programs.
