By: Glenn Roskein The Race will kick off at Charles Boehm Middle School follow two loops around the Charles Boehm - William Penn - Pennwood complex and end on the track behind William Penn. Race day registration booth will be set up at 7:30 A.M. Online pre-registration is available now at www.myohcenter.com. “We are very excited to be hosting our 2nd annual race” says Dr Kathleen K. Petrucci, DC of Optimal Health Center. “Childhood obesity is an epidemic that presently affects nearly 1/3 of young people throughout the country. It is important for us to help educate and inspire people to make better lifestyle choices for themselves so that they live longer and healthier lives. At the race we will be distributing information on choosing a wellness lifestyle.” The cost to participate in the race is $25 per individual ($20 before 9/30/11), $45 per family ($40 before 9/30/11). Registration is available online at www.myohcenter.com or onsite on race day beginning at 7:30 A.M. Awards will be given in different age categories. Post race refreshments will be provided to all runners.
