"oLyfe" -San Francisco-based Social Media Search and Discovery Engine, Visually Organizing Relevant

The next logical progression in the evolution of the web

Aug. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- oLyfe, a social media search and discovery engine in the early stages of their beta, is transforming the way we navigate the web, specifically search. Today, people are sharing amazing information about their social experiences, on many different platforms, and this valuable information is chaotic and fragmented. This overload of information is caused by a major paradigm-shift in the way we communicate; and San Francisco-based oLyfe has found a way to solve that problem: visually organize social media and innovate search encapsulating real-time pictures, videos, statuses, tweets, and check-ins.

Imagine being able to search for a restaurant before arriving, and seeing exactly what your dining experience will be like. Imagine seeing how people are dressed, and reading what the food actually tastes like based on actual customer experineces happening in real time. As a business, imagine the value in knowing the experiences people are sharing about your business, literally as they are having them. One could check every single social platform, but how do you sift and organize through all of the noise to really get a visual representation of one’s Social Identity?

oLyfe is not a new version of an existing product, or the next big thing of something that already exists, but rather the next logical progression in the evolution of the web. “Over the past 15 years, the different ways in which we communicate have evolved, but search is something that has not,” states VP of Business Development, Carl Eppolito. Search today is still retrieving links to external pages. Other "social search" engines are even retrieving external links as results. oLyfe eliminates users from having to click on the content they are looking for. “We bring it directly to them,” states Eppolito.

Currently, oLyfe is in the beta phase of their patent-pending social media search and discovery engine but claims that it is not their technology that makes them unique, but their amazing user interface. “The user experience is intuitive, captivating, and engaging. By bringing relevant content directly to a users search results, they never have to leave the platform... and most never want to,” states Eppolito.

oLyfe will be pushing their platform out to the lucky beta-goers in the San Francisco Bay area in September 2011, with a 10-city rollout soon thereafter. To sign-up, go to www.olyfe.com.
