Follow on Google News | Sacramento Harvest Festival Arrives Just in Time for the Holiday Shopping SeasonThe Harvest Festivals are the largest indoor arts and crafts shows on the West Coast, boasting over 24,000 unique handmade gifts that are all made in America.
By: Liz Stigge-Rosinski The event showcases hundred of vendors, the latest in handcrafted gifts, entertainers and special features. Guests can browse jewelry, clothing, fine art and photography, pottery, toys, home décor and more, all while mingling with the artists that create each piece. “I talk to so many people who come to our show year after year specifically to pick up products that they plan to use at their Thanksgiving celebrations,” Throughout the weekend there is high-energy live entertainment; Rocklin resident and Harvest Festival exhibitor Georgia Bockoven will be holding a special book signing of her newest release, “The Year Everything Changed”. Aside from being a professional photographer, Georgia is also an accomplished author who has sold over four million books worldwide. Also exhibiting at the show is Todd Borg, author of the popular Owen McKenna detective series. Todd will be selling and signing copies of his latest novel in the series, “Tahoe Hijack.” The official charity of the Sacramento Harvest Festival® are the AT&T Pioneers, a volunteer network that helps local communities by aiding educational programs, running local food drives, assisting after natural disasters, and much more. The AT&T Pioneers will receive half of the proceeds from shopping bag sales, as well as all the proceeds from the bag and parcel check. Elk Grove Food Bank Services will also be onsite and handing out $2 off admission coupons to anyone who brings a non-perishable food donation to the show.
