Improving your health care practice’s bottom line is the topic of inaugural event of the Healthcare Professional Services Network.

Aug. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Many small businesses are struggling in the current economic climate, and even medical practices aren’t immune.  Faced with patients holding off on non-essential visits, costly technology upgrades such as electronic medical records, and shrinking reimbursements from insurers and Medicaid, many doctors’ offices and other health care institutions are doing all they can to stay afloat.

To that end, a group of ancillary service providers specializing in the health care field have banded together to offer essential, profit-preserving strategies.  The newly formed Healthcare Professional Services Network (HPSN) is comprised of experts in technology, payroll, financial services, administration and other disciplines, with the shared goal of helping medical practices thrive.

The organization’s first event, a forum titled Successful Management of your Health Care Practice’s Bottom Line, will be held Sept. 14, 7:45-11 a.m., at Woodcrest Country Club, 300 East Evesham Road, in Cherry Hill, N.J.  The event is free for qualified attendees.

“Even those practices that are fortunate enough to not be struggling are looking to reduce costs, invest wisely in new technology, and practice more efficiently,” says Scott Soslow, a HPSN co-founder and principal in Summit Professional Associates, a financing solutions company in Cherry Hill.  “Our hope is that HPSN will become a valuable resource for health care practices of all types in the Delaware Valley.”

The forum will feature five expert speakers:

•  Lisa Fry, USA Payroll - Streamlining Your Admin Process
•  Jonasz Knapik, SaVit Enterprises - Maximizing Your Patient Revenue
•  Ruth Harris, Source One Medical Management – Improve and Control Your Bottom Line
•  Rubin Mendelson, Broadview Networks - How Cloud Computing Can Further Reduce Your Costs
•  Scott Tanker, Benchmark Payment Networks - Reducing Your Processing Costs

Soslow notes that this forum is the first in a planned series, and sponsorship opportunities are available.  Parking and registration are free, but as space is limited it’s recommended you register by Aug. 29.  Refreshments, including continental breakfast, will be served.

For more information or to register, call Scott Soslow at 856-216-1128, or e-mail scott.soslow@gmail.com.  You can also register online at www.tinyurl.com/HPSNForum.
