Avnet Technology Solutions APAC Promotes Roger Tan and Michael Costigan

Aug. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- ASIA PACIFIC, August 10, 2011 -- Avnet Technology Solutions, the IT solutions distribution leader and operating group of Avnet, Inc., announces the promotion of Roger Tan and Michael Costigan in Asia Pacific.

Roger Tan has been promoted to vice president, business operations, Asia Pacific. Roger will assume overall responsibility for the operations team in Asia Pacific, specifically leading the operational excellence program at the regional and country level which includes the customer loyalty program. He will also be responsible for the export compliance program. Roger replaces Jackson Ngan who moved up into the role of vice president and general manager, Greater China. Roger holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from University of Iowa and has been with Avnet for four years.

Michael Costigan is moving up as vice president, marketing and business innovation, Asia Pacific. Michael will continue to lead and drive the marketing function for the region as well as continuing his role in strategic supplier management. Michael has been with Avnet for nearly ten years and holds a BA and Master of Letters degrees as well as an Executive MBA from the University of Memphis. In 2007, he was awarded the CRN Australia channel champion award.
