According to the U. S. Labor Department the current unemployment rate is 16. 7%. Therefore, Hour of Truth Ministry has created and implemented intervention and prevention programs to interact with the youth in this particular target area. Our mission and vision is to offer them hope and ways to change their immoral behavior in exchange for a safe and nurturing environment while in the program. As a result, we hope that the enrichment programs will change lives, build relationships, and raise up future leaders through education, shared experiences, and exploration. Hour of Truth Ministry is asking local businesses and professionals to serve as volunteers. In addition, we need sponsorship and contributions from national and local agencies, as well as like-minded organizations to help us reach program goals and objectives for young adults. Our short-term goal will be to have 50 to 100 youth enrolled in the program within the next two to three months. Our long-term goal will be to extend the program within the next 2 to 5 years to others areas of the city. Also, we would like to establish a national model for other states. Tickets are $10 and a table of 10 for $100. This is a small price to pay for success.
