Brad Fair Named Executive Director for Blackmore Mobile Electronics

Aug. 10, 2011 - PRLog -- Brad Fair has been named the Executive Director for Blackmore Mobile Electronics, a leading mobile entertainment manufacturer located in Los Angeles, California. Blackmore announced that Fair’s primary responsibilities involve leading the sales, marketing and product development efforts as the company heads into 2012 with a fresh new look and an array of innovative product offerings.

With an impressive 33 year background in the 12 volt industry, Fair has seen the highs and lows of the marketplace. “To be successful in this industry, not only does marketing have to change, the products have to follow suit,” said Fair. “Consumers are a lot more savvy and educated than they use to be due to all of the information available to them at their fingertips on the internet.”

Fair was born and raised in Long Beach, CA where he started his career as an installer in mobile entertainment. He credits his success to some of the great teachers and leaders in the industry, including Gene Norvell and Mike Fellen who took him under their wings early in his career.

“I have always had a passion for product development and enjoy both the engineering and marketing aspects of it,” Fair stated. “My sales skills have been based on relationships in the industry and the ability to sell the products that my team develops.”
Prior to joining Blackmore, Fair has held executive level positions at Powerbass, Audiobahn and Soundstream, to name just a few. In 2010, he also was a board member with MERA (Mobile Electronics Retailers Association).
