How did we do it?
Closed Loop Recycling is a recycling service provider that specializes in recycling oil-saturated absorbents used to contain and absorb oil from machinery waste, spills and leaks that occur in manufacturing facilities.
Closed Loop Recycling delivers clean absorbent materials to facilities where they are used to soak up oil. We also supply and recycle rags and wipers for everyday use in these plants. When these absorbents and wipers are fully saturated, they are placed in drums which are picked up by our representatives on a regular basis.
This leaves us with three separate waste streams (drums, absorbents and oil):
1. Initially, oil saturated absorbents are processed through a centrifuge operation to remove excess oil from the absorbents. The extracted oil is transported off site for recycling by EPA approved oil-recycling facilities.
2. Absorbents are then cleaned through our patented dry-cleaning process utilizing state-of-the-
3. Drums are scraped, cleaned and used again.
Our process provides the most environmentally sound method for absorbent recycling today. Virtually no waste enters the environment.

Closed Loop Recycling (a division of Waste Controllers Inc.) Established 1996
Closed Loop Recycling (a division of Waste Controllers Inc.) has developed a process to clean oil absorbent material and to refine the used oils extracted from the materials. This process turns three separate waste streams into three reusable products. The EPA encourages recycling absorbents by exempting the laundering of absorbents from RCRA and by excluding materials from the definition of solid waste.
Brief History
Rick Marchbanks started the Midwest operation of Bancs Group Inc. in 1996 out of Fulton Missouri. In 2007 we started hearing our customers asking how to recycle other types of materials. This has evolved to the point of being able to analyze all types of waste streams and offering more options to reduce costs for our clients.
