Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation Adds Three New Specialists in SanFrancisco
        New Providers Include Psychiatry, Gastroenterology and Pediatrics

(San Francisco, Aug. 9, 2011) – Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation, part of the Sutter Health network, announced today the addition of three specialty care physicians to its San Francisco medical group. Winston Chung, M.D., joins the Foundation as a psychiatrist. Two other new specialists include Jennifer Guy, M.D., gastroenterologist, and Monica Nayakwadi Singer, M.D., pediatrician.

Winston Chung, M.D., M.S., is board-certified in psychiatry and neurology.
Dr. Chung holds a Medical Degree and a Master of Science Degree in biochemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He completed a residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in child psychiatry at University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). Dr. Chung’s professional interests include child and adolescent psychiatry, cultural psychiatry, neurobehavioral syndromes, psychotherapy, ADHD and autism. Jennifer Guy, M.D., M.S., board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, is Director of the Liver Cancer Program at California Pacific Medical Center. She holds a Medical Degree from the School of Medicine, University of California at San Francisco (UCSF), where she also completed a residency, fellowship, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Research. She previously served on the faculty at UCSF as an assistant professor of medicine. Dr. Guy’s professional interests include general and transplant hepatology, with a particular focus on liver cancer. She speaks Spanish. Monica Nayakwadi Singer, M.D., M.P.H., is a board-certified pediatrician joining the Bayview Child Health Center at 1335 Evans Street in San Francisco. She holds a Medical Degree from State University of New York Downstate as well as a Master in Public Health degree from University of Michigan School of Public Health. She completed a residency in pediatrics at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell.  Previously, Dr. Singer was an attending physician at Bayview Child Health Center, and returns as a pediatrician after serving as a hospitalist at Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton, Mass.
