The Marketing Professionals, Inc Supports Operation Smile

Aug. 9, 2011 - PRLog -- (New Brunswick, NJ) – August 8, 2011 – The Marketing Professionals, a New Brunswick-based sales and marketing firm, recently coordinated and participated in a Bowl-a-Thon to raise money for Operation Smile, an international charity that provides surgical services for children and young adults born with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities.

The Bowl-a-Thon, which took place in July, had 30 participants, including account representatives, their administrator, human resource manager, Duran Kelly, President of The Marketing Professionals and managing partner Nicholas Zimmerman. Every team member who participated in the event donated to Operation Smile.

“The team at The Marketing Professionals is committed to giving back to our community and volunteering at local organizations,” said President Duran Kelly. “Helping heal the smiles of children across the globe is very important, and we were glad to be able to make a difference.”

The Marketing Professionals has also donated time to Feed the Children and people battling AIDS.

“Once we make a goal, we follow it through – and then some,” said Nicholas Zimmerman. “We’re going to continue fundraising and volunteering as a company so that we can really make an impact. I’m so proud of my team for coming together and raising money for people who need assistance. It says a lot about their commitment and tenacity.”
