By: WCS Events Partners - Kirt Schuman The Apple Harvest Day 5K Road Race returns on October 1, 2011 as part of the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce’s 27th Celebration of this highly anticipated fall festival. Advanced registration is $17 for adults and $12 for children and is available online at www.appleharvestday5k.com or in person at the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center at 550 Central Avenue. The race starts on River Street, by the Tommy and Mary Makem Bridge at 8:30am on Saturday, October 1, 2011 and features a rolling downtown USTAF certified course and is the perfect way for local runners and families to start off their festival day.
