-- The United States Chamber of Commerce (the “U.S. Chamber”) and RecruitMilitary, LLC, are pleased to announce that they have joined together to produce 13 career fair hiring events for our nation’s veterans and their spouses. These events will be known as “Hiring Our Heroes/RecruitMilitary Veteran Opportunity Expos” and will be held from September through December 2011. RecruitMilitary will produce all of the events. The first one will take place on September 22 at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati. The remaining 12 Hiring Our Heroes/RecruitMilitary Veteran Opportunity Expos will take place on October 6 in Pittsburgh, October 13 in Phoenix, October 20 in Atlanta and Kansas City, October 27 in Jacksonville, November 3 in Philadelphia and Seattle/Tacoma, November 10 in Dallas, November 17 in both Charlotte and Norfolk, December 1 in San Diego, and December 8 in Houston. These events will benefit veterans and military spouses who are looking for jobs and businesses that want to hire great employees. To increase the number of employers participating in these events and maximize job opportunities for veterans and military spouses, RecruitMilitary is offering companies that are members of the U.S. Chamber and local chambers a 10% discount on the cost of their exhibition booths. Additionally, RecruitMilitary will offer further price reductions for small businesses (businesses that have less than 50 employees), and even lower rates for veteran-owned small businesses.

Veterans can help fill that gap because they have unique leadership experience and advanced technical expertise.”
