jetNEXUS Accelerating Load Balancer delivers an incredible amount of features for the money compared

Independent testing organisation Broadband-Testing Labs reviewed jetNEXUS’ ALB-X 2.0 which, according to analyst Steve Broadhead, has succeeded in bringing to the masses, the benefits and functionality of advanced load balancers, previously only available to Enterprises deploying high cost solutions.

One of the latest additions under review is flightPATH; a powerful, Layer7 traffic routing engine which enables clients to create and implement application rules including, for example to block unwanted requests, rewrite user requests, control spiders and fix broken URLs. Broadhead praises flightPATH in “giving clients the control and intelligence in managing service delivery that is especially crucial when maintaining online applications and ecommerce sites.”

Such advanced Layer7 features have traditionally been complex to install, requiring skilled specialists to implement. flightPATH however is easy-to-use and does not require experience in programming to operate. Commenting on its capabilities jetNEXUS CEO, Greg Howett states: “flightPATH is incredibly configurable, enabling clients to create bespoke rules for their unique architectures.
