PRLog - Aug. 5, 2011 - ST. LOUIS -- The Pub Theater Company is seeking to fill ensemble cast and understudy roles for “Bye Bye Liver: The St. Louis Drinking Play.” Currently running in two St. Louis locations, “Bye Bye Liver” employs scripted sketch-comedy and audience-participatory games to create a uniquely interactive experience.
Submissions are being accepted for both male and female comedic actors, as well as keyboard accompanists with a background in comedy. Broad weekend availability is required. Positions are paid per performance.
Auditions will be held Monday, August 15 through Wednesday, August 17 at Maggie O’Brien’s, 2000 Market Street. To request an audition opportunity, interested candidates should forward a current headshot and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Launched in Chicago in 2006 and running concurrently in five North American cities, September will mark the one-year anniversary of “Bye Bye Liver: The St. Louis Drinking Play” at Maggie O’Brien’s. In May of this year, “Bye Bye Liver” answered a months-long streak of sold-out performances by adding a “1st and 3rd Fridays” series at Atomic Cowboy.
