Aug. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Hamilton, OH — August 2, 2011— Kaivac (http:// www.kaivac.com), developer of the No-Touch Cleaning® system, is introducing an entirely new “grow-as-you-go” cleaning concept and product line to help restaurants and food service establishments keep their facilities cleaner and healthier.

Called Crossover Cleaning, the system is designed around Kaivac’s new OmniFlex™ customized cleaning tools, which help eliminate the need for traditional string mops, which tests indicate can spread more soils than they remove.

In fact, initial tests indicate the system is as much as 30 times more effective at removing soils and contaminants from surfaces than traditional mopping.

The OmniFlex system is comprised of inexpensive modular components. They allow restaurant cleaning workers to customize a complete cleaning system for handling specific cleaning tasks in kitchen areas, dining rooms, and restrooms.

The patented system includes the following components:

•   The KaiMotion Flex™ Trolley-Bucket
•   Wet/dry vacuum designed for commercial and industrial floor maintenance
•   150 psi “Black Box” pump for indoor pressure rinsing and chemical injection (used in the spray-and-squeegee and spray-and-vac configurations)
•   Components that can be configured into complete dispense-and-vac, spray-and-vac, and spray-and-squeegee systems to meet a variety of multi-surface cleaning needs
•   Heavy-duty handle with built-in storage tray for tools
•   A super durable down-pressure wringer for the Trolley-Bucket

According to Tom Morrison, Vice President of Marketing for Kaivac, the OmniFlex system’s foundation is the 10-gallon Trolley-Bucket that allows users to precisely apply fresh cleaning solution to hard-surface floors, preventing chemical contamination.

“From here, restaurant cleaning workers can attach components as needed,” says Morrison who adds, “the food service industry is fast becoming one of the biggest markets for the new product line, especially the dispense-and-vac configuration.”
The ultimate goal for Crossover Cleaning and the OmniFlex system, according to company officials, is to help end users “cross over” from traditional mopping to an inexpensive system that is faster, safer, healthier, and more hygienic.
