Jim Raeder presents people and planes in Airplanista Magazine's August issue

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh is the world's largest celebration of aviation. But aviation photographer Jim Raeder knows that while the planes are important, it's the people that make the show exciting.

Aug. 5, 2011 - PRLog -- Jim Raeder of Boise, Idaho, is the featured aviation photographer in the August, 2011 issue of Airplanista Magazine published online only at http://www.mygazines.com/title/8982 and presents coverage of the “world’s largest aviation celebration” at the Experimental Aircraft Association’s (EAA) annual AirVenture Air Show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

"This show is so much more than just airplanes, it is also about people who love airplanes” said Airplanista Editor/Publisher Dan Pimentel. “Jim (Raeder) presented me with a selection of human interest images that focused on the people at AirVenture instead of the airplanes. The photo spread does, however, lead off with a stunning night shot of the Icon A5 light sport amphibian airplane in the Icon booth, awash in dramatic blue stage lighting. It is truly one of the most gorgeous aviation photographs I have ever seen!"
