Priceless Autographed Guitars at Petaluma Music Festival

Aug. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- Guitars signed by Jackie Greene, Tommy Castro, The Devil Makes Three, Gillian Welch, Dave Rawlings, G Love, Wonder Bread 5, Billy Sheehan, THE Old 97s, Steve Morse, Lita Ford, Robin Trower, Ray Manzarek, Steve Vai, George Benson, Dick Dale, Ronnie Montrose, Robbin Ford, Victor Wooten, Ray Benson and Buddy Guy are going to be raffled for a dollar a ticket at the Petaluma Music Festival this Saturday, August 6, at the Sonoma-Marin fairgrounds in Petaluma, California.
Live performances will be featured throughout the day by The Devil Makes 3, Mother Hips, Cornmeal, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, SambaDa, Nicki Bluhm & the Gramblers, Big Light, Hillside Fire, Red Meat, Stompy Jones, Craig Horton, The Peter Welker Sextet featuring Jerff Oster... also Fire Child, the Smokehouse Gamblers, Kala, Skylark and Petaluma Pete at the entrance to the event.

Keeping Music in the Schools
Our goal is simple: "keeping music in the schools".  The Petaluma Music Festival Board of Directors believe passionately in the positive influence of music in children’s lives.  Proceeds from this annual event will be distributed among Petaluma’s public elementary and secondary schools to provide funding for their music programs.  Funding for the arts is problematic in California, as there is never enough funding for all our school's needs. With your attendance, you are making a difference, and we applaud you!

In 2010, the Petaluma Music Festival donated over $13,000 to Petaluma music programs!
The following schools received proceeds from the 2010 Festival:

Elementary Schools in the Petaluma, Old Adobe and Waugh School Districts
Two Rock, Wilson, Liberty, Dunham, Cinnabar, Live Oak Charter, and Mary Collins at Cherry Valley Elementary Schools
Petaluma Junior and Kenilworth Junior High Schools
Petaluma and Casa Grande High Schools
