“From Roses to orchids, the nature of flowers can be appreciated on a card now without its recipient having to throw away a bunch of dead flowers a week later,” said co-founder and brother John Kao.
Flowers are picked, dried, pressed, and preserved to maintain its original look and feel. The pressed flowers are then put on a card with a matching ribbon, customized to the customer’s liking, and sent to the customer’s recipient. Another card of the same design is sent to a child from the Child Life Department at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.
Send Greetings of Grace, based in Allen, Texas, hopes to offer a simple yet unique way of encouraging others through the beauty of flowers and cards together. The company currently offers 30 different designs made with various kinds of flowers and come out with new cards each week.
