8(a) STARS II GWAC is a dynamic, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle for prime contractors who are certified as 8(a) small business concerns only. 8(a) STARS II has a five-year base period and one five-year option, a $10 billion ceiling and allows for directed task orders of up to $4 million.
For the Government, 8(a) STARS II offers streamlined procurement for since participants have already been pre-competed. Also, because each technology provider has been proven, agencies are assured quality work with a shorter procurement lead time, lower user access fee all while receiving socioeconomic credit.
